I sometimes dig unknown music on YouTube. If you have a YouTube account, you can find recommended video on YouTube sometimes. This system is very useful for finding your favorite music. That’s why I discovered the band that I found on YouTube.
They are The Lethal Weapons. They are a 2-piece synth pop band. (This music type is also known as techno pop in Japan. ) Synth pop is a popular music type from the 1980’s. Their band activity has started in 2019 on the internet, and they released a full album on some music distribution services. They don't have their own official website, However I found their official twitter account. (That’s how I got their information.)
The vocalist is Cyborg Joe. He is American. His costume looks like Martin McFly, ( the main character of Back To The Future.) I think it's homage to 80's culture. In contrast with his looks, his voice is very clear. The composer is AI-KID. He has been active as a composer. He made some music for idol groups and mobile games.
Their songs are very unique. They sing about everyday things with 80’s synth pop music, such as drinking alcohol, waiting for payday, Japan is good country, etc…
Their activity has just begun. I’m looking forward to seeing their debut.
